Monday night the Kings beat the Warriors to take a 2-0 lead in the series, which happens to be the first time that Steph Curry's Warriors have ever gone down 0-2 in a series. Another fantastic game, this one may have had even more theatrics than the first. From multiple double-digit comebacks to Draymond doing his best Christian Laettner impression, this game was about as entertaining as professional basketball gets.

Break neck pace, that's how I would describe this game. From the very beginning this game was a full out sprint. Almost all of the Kings' first quarter points came from fast break dunks. The Warriors got a good lead, then the Kings came back. The Kings got a good lead, then the Warriors came back. The game looked like it may get out of hand at multiple points right before the opposing team went on a big run. The first half was incredibly fun to watch and competitive through and through.
The second half, as always, was when things came down to the wire. The Kings were in the lead for 90% of the second half, but the Warriors made a big run in the fourth quarter. This run may have been more than just a run if Draymond Green didn't get thrown out minutes before it. In a cataclysmic turn of events, Draymond stomped on Domantas Sabonis' chest as hard as he possibly could and got himself thrown out of the game. Why did he do this? Because Sabonis accidentally grabbed his leg while bracing himself as he fell to the ground. Breaking News: Draymond Green is a bad person and an utter moron.
Apart from Green's assault, the Warriors played pretty well. Curry had a good game, Wiggins looked really good at points, and Klay had some clutch shots late in the game. Despite this, the Kings' onslaught was just too much for Golden State. Sabonis had a much better game than he did in game one, and players like Malik Monk, Davion Mitchell, and Harrison Barnes all contributed. However, we all know who willed this team to victory. De'Aaron Fox, despite only scoring 24 points, seemed to score all of his points at crucial moments. He was able to give the team the final push they needed to win the game, once again proving he's probably the clutchest player in the league.
So the series is firmly in the Kings' court, but don't count the Warriors out yet. They are the reigning champions and arguably the greatest dynasty of all-time, and they're playing a team that has relatively no playoff experience. I do think the Kings have all the momentum they need to win this series, but if you think the Warriors are just going to stand by and get steamrolled you have another thing coming. This has been a fantastic series so far, and we can only expect that excellency to continue.
